Promotional Photographs…….. DONE!

A big tick on the to-do list today. Glen and I had tried in vain to get a date together where we were both available for his charity to come and take photographs so when I managed to get babysitters (thank you sister-in-law) for a couple of hours and the charity wasn’t able to make it a culmination of events brought Martin Newton (of Martin Newton Photography) to the rescue!

Despite Glen taking an early morning ride and getting a puncture (yes he’s still got the flat tire throughout the photos) and me forgetting my shoes and having to go back for them we managed to get some very cool images.

The brief: use the pathway as leading lines signifying “the road” of the Camino, use of hard light to make me look well hard and invincible. Use me to hide Glen’s lack of panniers and back puncture.

I’ve tweaked one…… More to follow!

This blog: Tony Hemans and Glen Eccles cycled the Camino Frances from St jean Pied de Port in France to Santiago de Compostela covering 845km in 6 days in October 2012.  If you are trying to get fit, planning an adventure, long distance cyclist or just curious about my mid-life crisis then subscribe and share!
