I’ve done a little changing about on the blog. The latest updates now show on the front instead of the “about this challenge” page. please see the menu bar across the top for details about the challenge. also put your email address in at the right of this page (on computer view, not mobile!) if you fancy receiving updates whilst on the ride. These will contain at the very least a link to google maps so you can easily see how far we’ve gone. Hopefully, If I can update as I expect I can, 170,000 pilgrims do these routes (the Caminos) per year and I’d estimate 50% of them have blogs! If you don’t believe me just search!

Like this one:  http://johnniewalker-santiago.blogspot.com/ His name’s not Johnnie Walker and he gave up a good career to volunteer at the main pilgrims office in Santiago de Compostela. Where I’ll be taking my pilgrims passport to receive my compostela. Brilliant blog and a good way of seeing the types of people completing the Camino and the distances they travel.

This blog: Tony Hemans and Glen Eccles cycled the Camino Frances from St jean Pied de Port in France to Santiago de Compostela covering 845km in 6 days in October 2012.  If you are trying to get fit, planning an adventure, long distance cyclist or just curious about my mid-life crisis then subscribe and share!
