2 Days to go! silicone in the shoes……

Bike box out of the shed, bought nuts (the edible kind). Lost a pannier and a fleece, no idea where, I’m hoping they haven’t dropped down to the back of the cupboard into Narnia. Glen’s been sending me photo’s of a box with a bike packed into it. I thought I’d better start. So I put silicone on the soles of my shoes around the cleats where my eggbeater pedals clip in. (It’s something i’ve done for years, keeps the dirt from forming a concrete hard layer in the allen key holes on the bolts and stops water getting in through the gaps left for adjustment. otherwise you can get wet feet in less than an inch of water.) and by the look of the forecast there will be plenty of water….

So I bought water proofing and washed my jacket in it, and my bib tights (got to be worth a try? I’m basically going to be shedding water like a duck.

Anyway, hoping Glen’s throat infection clears in time and that there’s still ink in the printer because I got to check in to these flights…… Got to go, I’m being told this isn’t helping get my s*&t together.

Update: Pannier was in Narnia.
